Because personalized napkins can be quite expensive, there are ways to lower the costs. Instead of purchasing embellishments with your napkins---such as ribbons---consider purchasing them separately and adding them yourself. If you're using the napkins to wrap goodies and appetizers, think about making the goodies at home in your own kitchen to save on costs.
Alternatively, you could print the napkins at home yourself. You'll likely need a specialized printer for such tasks, but if you already have one, you could save a significant amount of cash.

I love personalized napkins! Saving money on the extras is a good idea though. While it's cool to tie them up in ribbons, I agree that you're probably better off doing that yourself to save a few bucks. It's worth shopping around for the right napkins too. Sometimes people take one home as a keepsake, so you don't want to use napkins that aren't very good or aren't that stylish or memorable.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how much small embellishments can add up. Paying for ribbon on napkins can cost upwards of $3 more for each napkin order. However, if you do it at home, you can buy a $1 roll of ribbon and tie them up yourself. As a result, you'll have more to spend on other items, like party favors or decorations.
