La Deessa Premium Vitamin C Serum Review + Giveaway

As a mother of two, in my mid-twenties, my skin just isn't what it used to be. Long gone are the days of smooth, elastic, even-colored skin. Ever since I had my babies, I've been dealing with random patches of redness, rough areas, and large pores.

Recently, I tried La Deessa Premium Anti Aging Elixir. It's a Vitamin C serum for the face, neck, and chest area, that is designed to stimulate collagen production, improve skin tone and texture, reduce wrinkles, hydrate the skin, improve firmness and elasticity, and the list goes on and on.

The ingredients are certified organic and are not tested on animals.

Some of these ingredients may seem unfamiliar to you, so I'd like to clear a couple of them up.

  • Phenoxyethanol is derived from flower extracts. It does not release formaldehyde, and is a weak biocide. It is typically used at 0.1%.
  • Ethyl Hexl Glycerin is a synthetic skin-conditioner, also derived from plant extracts. It is approved, and globally used as a safe, natural, and proven preservative enhancer. It is often used in place of parabens.

If you have any other questions about the ingredients, feel free to leave a comment.

Applying La Deessa Premium Vitamin C Serum is easy. The bottle is glass, and comes with a glass-dropper that makes it easy to apply it to specific areas of the face.

Before using La Deessa Vitamin C Serum, I took a few "before" photographs to keep track of my results.

As you can see, there are areas of redness along my cheeks, as well as some oily areas on my cheekbones. These were the problems that I was hoping to remedy with La Deessa Premium Anti Aging Elixir.

I used the product for 3 weeks, every day, applying it to my face every morning before my makeup and every night after I took my makeup off. Within the first few days, I noticed that my skin felt softer and after every application, it felt immediately tighter.

After three weeks, I noticed a significant change in my skin.

Above is a photograph of my face after three weeks. As you can see, some of the redness has improved, and my skin is not nearly as oily as it had been. I feel that the freckles on my skin were somewhat lightened as well, and there are also very fine lines (that many people say they can't see--but I can) on my forehead that were smoothed out.

I'm excited to continue using La Deessa Vitamin C Serum in hopes that I'll see even more results, possibly even the firming of my neck area--which I'm somewhat insecure about.
