100% Pure Essential Lavender Oil, Kashmir Grade

As many of you know, I'm a stay-at-home mother. It's no easy task, to say the least. I have currently been under quite a bit of stress lately with schooling my son while tending to my 19-month-old daughter, as well as keeping up with my new workout routine. Not to mention, my blog has begun to really take off, so I've really had my hands full.

I've been looking for different natural ways to relieve my stress. Aromatherapy options are one of my favorite and recently, I was able to try 100% Pure Essential Lavender Oil.

Upon receiving my 100% Kashmir Grade Lavender Oil, I was appreciative of the way it was packaged. Being that it is in a glass bottle, it's nice for a company to take extra precautions to prevent damage.

The lavender oil is Kashmir Grade and comes in a 10 mL bottle. It may not seem like much at all, but the formula is concentrated. With that said, a drop or two really does go a long way.

What some may find surprising about 100% lavender oil is that the scent is more "piney" than floral. Most people believe lavender oil to be overly floral, due to the source. This is not the case, in fact. Of course, don't be confused. Lavender oil does have floral undertones, but they are not as prominent as the piney fragrance you'll experience upon opening the bottle (and because it's so potent, you may actually get a whiff of the oil prior to twisting off the cap).

The dispensing method is rather handy. There is a small nozzle at the top of the bottle that drips fairly slowly to allow just the right amount of drops to come out without spilling the oil everywhere. Despite the small size, the oil was very easy to dispense and the bottle was very easy to handle.

I use the lavender oil for aromatherapy purposes. Being that I have two children--a 7-year-old and a 19-month-old--bedtime isn't always incredibly exciting. Sometimes, my babies get restless, but with a few drops of lavender oil in my oil burner, the mood changes dramatically. The oil helps my children relax and eases my stress. It's perfect for particularly stressful nights.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this 100% Essential Lavender Oil. It has impressed me in many ways, and the fact that it is so versatile is even more appealing. I've used it in my bath water, I've used a drop on my dog's fur when he came in smelling of dirt, and I've used a little mixed in with vinegar to wipe down my cabinets.

No matter what you're using it for, I hope that you can enjoy lavender oil as much as I have.
