Body Merry Age Defense Eye & Neck Cream Reviews

Dry, winter air makes is rough on my skin. This, along with the fact that I am no longer in my early twenties, means that my skin just isn't the same that it used to be. Because of this, I am always looking for new ways to help keep my skin supple and to prevent any more damage and loss of elasticity.

Recently, I had the opportunity to try two products, in hopes that they would restore the beauty that my skin once radiated. Body Merry Age Defense Neck Cream and Body Merry Age Defense Eye Cream both sounded promising.

Both the Age Defense Eye Cream and the Age Defense Neck Cream are designed to firm and life the skin, as well as provide moisture for optimal hydration. Today, I'm going to provide two separate reviews in one post, just to give you a better understanding of both products on an individual level.

Firstly, however, I'd like to touch on what the two products have in common, including the brand that manufactures them.

Obviously, both the Age Defense Eye Cream and Age Defense Neck Cream are created by Body Merry. Both come in a cylindrical bottle, of different sizes. The Body Merry Age Defense Neck Cream is in a larger body, presumably due to the fact that it's used on a more widespread area of your body. Each has a press pump, which makes pumping out just the right about of cream pretty easy.

Both the eye cream and neck cream contain a large amount of ingredients. Despite this, however, it should be noted that neither contain any parabens, sulfates, or phthalates. Also, both are manufactured in the United States in an FDA registered and GMP compliant facility. Both the neck cream and eye cream are also cruelty-free and not tested on animals.

Body Merry Age Defense Eye Cream

The Body Merry Age Defense Eye Cream is light weight and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. I appreciate this, as I cannot stand to feel as if I'm wearing a bunch of product on my face. The product is designed for treating dark under eye circles, wrinkles, and puffiness, and of course, provides much needed moisture to prevent all of the aforementioned issues.

My personal experience with the Body Merry Age Defense Eye Cream was positive. First and foremost, I took note that the cream was not watered down. It was nice and thick, just as it should be, and spread very easily across the skin around my eyes. Within three weeks of using the eye cream, there was a significant reduction in redness around my eyes, which I have grown so accustomed to. Now, I feel that I'm actually seeing what my skin should look like.

The scent of the cream is somewhat floral and very sweet. I really liked the scent, and felt that the scent could be attributed to the many pure plant oils used in the product.

The eye cream has over 70 ingredients, including vitamins, amino acids, as well as antioxidants. It contains natural and organic ingredients, including coconut oil, beeswax, and aloe, to name a few.

Age Defense Neck Cream

Designed to firm, lift, and moisturize the skin of your neck and chest, the Age Defense Neck Cream includes vitamins, antioxidants, and AHAs. Like the Age Defense Eye Cream, it is not overly heavy, although it is a bit more heavy than the eye cream. This could be due, in part, to the fact that you need more product to cover the neck and chest.

The ingredients include royal jelly, cocoa butter, green tea, and lemongrass to name a few. It is free of harsh chemicals.

My personal experience with the Age Defense Neck Cream has been positive, just like that of the eye cream. I've experienced a firming of the skin on my neck, which is incredibly exciting, as it has been one of my problem areas. Of course, the notice isn't extremely significant, but it is enough for me to notice and feel.

One issue that I had with the Age Defense Neck Cream was that it says it contains no fragrances, yet it has a very strong sunscreen-like scent to it. Interestingly enough, however, it contains an alpha hydroxy acid which may actually increase your sensitivity to the sun. Because of this, you should limit your exposure to the sun when wearing this product and within a week of wearing the product.

I believe that the scent may be attributed to the number of oils used in the product, but I cannot say for sure.

Bottom Line

Overall, both products have proved that they do, in fact, work as advertised. Because of this, I would recommend them both. However, the Age Defense Neck Cream should be avoided for those who already have sensitivity to the sun.
