If you're familiar with night time fevers, you know how nerve-wracking they can be. You want to let your child sleep, but sometimes it's necessary to check their temperature. Often times, because your baby is already irritable, this leads to tears and fits which makes for a pretty poor night's rest.

I recently had the opportunity to try the Santa Medical Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer. What I love most about this thermometer is that it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. For less than $50, you can get your own infrared thermometer.
Be sure to read the instruction manual in it's entirety before use to make sure that you're getting the most accurate readings.
Overall, I am satisfied with the thermometer. Calibration was a little tricky, but other than that, it's become quite the handy tool in our household.
