This is exactly what's been happening with my fitness journey. For those of you who aren't yet aware, on May 18, 2016, I started a journey to a healthy lifestyle. I have since lost 24 pounds and I feel incredible! I have implemented diet, exercise, and the Law of Attraction into my life and the difference has been amazing.
I'd like to give a big shout out to Celsius for sending me a sample pack of Celsius Sparkling Watermelon so that I may facilitate an in-depth, unbiased review. All opinions are my own.
Now, when it comes to lifestyle changes, we still need to be realistic. While I might feel like superwoman most days, sometimes I just need a pick-me-up. Sometimes I don't feel like hopping on my exercise bike. Sometimes I just don't want to do my strength training. Some days, I just want to sleep in.
That's where Celsius comes in!
Celsius is a healthy alternative to sugary energy drinks and sodas. It is a one-of-a-kind beverage that burns body fat and burns 100 or more calories with each serving. Not to mention, one serving is only ten calories; compare that to nearly 250 found in most energy drinks.
Backed by science, Celsius can give you an extra boost to your clean eating and exercise routine. It provides you with all of the good ingredients and none of the junk found in other sugary drinks. Here are a few of the benefits of Celsius:
- No sugar
- No high-fructose corn syrup
- No aspartame
- No preservatives
- No artificial colors or flavors
- Low sodium
- Vitamin enriched
- Gluten free
- Vegan accepted
Each serving is only 10 calories and zero net carbs (2g carbs + 2g fiber).
My first impression of Celsius was positive. I read several Celsius success stories that really motivated me to get on board with the drink. After receiving my 12-pack of Celsius Sparkling Watermelon, I couldn't wait to try it before my morning cardio workout.
The first drink that I tried was warm—which I do not recommend. The taste of sucralose was heavy before the drink was chilled. Fortunately, after placing it in the refrigerator for a few hours, the taste was crisp, clean, and refreshing. It is a carbonated drink, but despite this, I did not feel "gassy" like I usually feel after consuming carbonated beverages.
I do hope that they one day create a Stevia version so that those who aren't fond of sucralose can enjoy the benefits that Celsius has to offer.
I went from drinking a well-known energy drink brand that contains approximately 220 calories per can to Celsius which provided me with even more energy for a good workout. It gives me the boost that I need to keep going, but without the crash. My first workout after consuming Celsius was literally the most pumped-up workout that I've had since I started this journey. Needless to say, I can't quit telling my friends and family about it.
Celsius is for more than working out.
If you're a caffeine-lover like me, you understand that it's good for more than just exercising. This is why so much of the United States population consumes incredible amounts of coffee. Unfortunately, coffee is often served with quite a bit of sugar, which leads to a crash later in the day. Celsius, however, doesn't have that problem.
I feel focused and upbeat when drinking Celsius and if I need a pick-me-up during my long hours of blogging, I can just grab a can to keep me going. It tastes great and is perfect for people like me watching their caloric intake. And like I said, even if you're not trying to lose weight, Celsius will provide you with the energy you need to stay active in your everyday life.
Celebrities like Mario Lopez, Ricky Gervais, and even Neil Patrick Harris are all lovers of Celsius, and there's a reason why.
It tastes great, provides you with energy, and doesn't give you jitters or a crash.
