Dr Teal's Eucalyptus Epsom Salt Soak
Being that I'm already a big fan of the Dr Teal's brand, I was pretty excited to try out a different version of their Epsom Salt. Eucalyptus is one of my favorite scents—my mom used to have branches of these fresh-smelling plant around the home, so the smell is nostalgic for me.
I'm also well-aware of Eucalyptus' soothing properties. I used the Dr Teal's Eucalyptus Epsom Salt Soak in a bath—I added one cup to the running water. Once the water was finished, I lit a candle and burned some incense and hopped in.
As expected, I enjoyed a relaxing and rejuvenating bath!
You can pick up a three-pound bag of Dr Teal's Eucalyptus Epsom Salt Soak for $4.99.
Simple Skincare Cleansing Facial Wipes
These cleansing wipes do more than just remove makeup. The wipes contain "skin-loving" ingredients that help hydrate your skin and leave it feeling fresh and smooth.
Our improved wipes are the ultimate cleansing trifecta: softer than silk fabrics are gentle on skin, merciless on makeup (even waterproof mascara!) and always fresh thanks to new Aqua-Lock™ packaging that keeps every wipe effective & fresh, even the last one.
I decided that it'd be best to try these facial cleansing wipes with a face full of makeup. So, since I had put on makeup earlier today, I was anxious to see how well it would come off.
One wipe, guys. One. That's all it took to remove primer, foundation, cream, powder, mascara, and lipstick. It took me thirty minutes to apply my makeup but the wipe had removed it all in less than five. I'd definitely say that this one is a winner!
Have a look. Here I am all fresh-faced without even a touch of redness. I love it! My skin feels clean, soft, and smooth.
You can pick up a 25-pack of wipes for $5.99.
Sinful Colors (Miss Klaws)
This is "Miss Klaws," a new shade from Sinful Colors. Sinful Colors and Kylie Jenner worked together on a Kolor Kollab, where they came up with 63 new shades of nail polish. I was lucky enough to receive Miss Klaws from the Trend Matters Kollection.
While I've always been a fan of Sinful Colors (check out my past posts here and here), this particular shade has stolen my heart.
It's bright, highly-pigmented and is matte when it dries.
You can pick up a bottle of Sinful Colors Nail Polish for $2.99.
I had heard of Ebates before I received this card in my VoxBox, but I had never joined. Now, I wish that I had! I am an avid online shopper and all of this time, I could have been earning cash back on my purchases! Sadly, I am just now getting hip to what the company really is. Better late than never, though.
Ebates is the premiere destination for savvy shoppers to earn Cash Back at over 2,000 of the most well known stores in the world like Amazon, eBay, Sephora, Groupon, Macy's and more. Stores pay Ebates a commission for sending members to shop at their sites and Ebates splits the commission with its members in the form of Cash Back. Join the more than 10 million people who have already joined Ebates and start earning cash back.
Harvest Snaps Snapea Crisps
To be honest, I wasn't sure that I'd like these. My sister used to purchase them all the time, but I never had any desire to try them. That's quite unfortunate, considering that I actually love them! I tried the lightly salted green pea crisps and fell in love. They're better-for-you than other crunchy snacks and they satisfy my need for a "crunch" every now and then—without packing me full of calories!
The tastier, better-for-you snack with snap! Made with whole green peas, Harvest Snaps are a good source of plant protein and fiber with less fat and sodium than traditional chips. Satisfy your snack cravings without the guilt with the light and crunchy goodness of Harvest Snaps Snappea Crisps!
You can grab a bag of Harvest Snaps Snapeas for $1.79 to $2.29, depending on the size of the bag and the retailer.
I have a lot to say about this one! I received two samples of Yogi Tea: Honey Lavender Stress Relief and Soothing Rose Hibiscus Skin Detox.
I tried the Honey Lavender Stress Relief—I've been on edge for several days now. Whether it's due to my current obligations or the full moon, I don't know, but what I do know is that relief would be appreciated. So, I tried the tea, of course!
The teabag itself smelled absolutely amazing. I was actually quite surprised at its potency and couldn't wait to see how it tasted!
Each bag has a cute little saying on it. Mine said, "Love is life, life is love." This cute little message gives the brand a little personality, which I appreciated.
Steeping the tea took about 7 minutes and filled my house with a delicious aroma.
The tea had a beautiful golden color.
And it tastes amazing! I am seriously anticipating the day that I grocery shop so that I can pick up a box to last me for the rest of the week.
You can grab a 16-pack of Yogi Tea for $4.49.
COVERGirl So Lashy! by blastPRO Mascara
It's so hard to find a decent mascara these days. I have tried well over five brands in the past couple of months and I've been disappointed in most of them. I even tried a brand that my friend was selling—one that enhances your lashes with little fibers—and while I loved it, it dried within a month! There was no way I could pay $40 for a mascara that was only going to last me for four weeks! I was not happy about that.
Needless to say, when I received the COVERGirl So Lashy Mascara, I was hoping and praying that it was going to work for me!
The wand itself seemed pretty innovative, if not a little intimidating; it had a comb-like wand with a small spiky sphere on the end.
While it might look menacing, it's not scary at all. It's designed to help you reach those inner corners and bottom lashes without smearing the mascara all over your eyelid (like I always seem to do).
Sure, it might look like a medieval torture device, but rest assured, it is not. It's not even sharp. It's silicone, so if you poke yourself in the eye, it's not like you're going to do any real lasting damage.
And it works great! I started with a fresh, clean pair of lashes. I added three coats (allowing the mascara to dry in between coats) and this is the result:
Isn't it wild how much of a difference mascara makes?
The mascara dries quickly in between coats so there's no long wait time. It lifts and curls my otherwise stick-straight lashes and gives them an extra boost of thickness.
As of right now, I am happy. I only hope that it lasts longer than a month.
You can pick up COVERGIRL So Lashy! Mascara for $8.99.
Simple Micellar Cleansing Water
This wasn't listed on my VoxBox insert so I'm not sure of the price. It's Simple brand Cleansing Water, the "Simple" brand is known as the "Sensitive Skin Experts." What this water does is:
- Removes make-up
- Instantly hydrates
- Unclogs pores
- No need to rinse
Our Micellar Water is a perfect blend of multi-vitamins, skin loving ingredients, and gentle cleansers to cleanse the skin while removing make-up. Skin is left feeling clean & instantly hydrated. It contains:
- No artificial dyes
- No artificial perfume
- No harsh chemicals*
*That can upset your skin
According to the instructions, just apply a generous amount of the cleansing water to a cotton pad, wipe the cotton pad around the face (no need to rub), around closed eyes (being careful not to get the water into the eyes), and then you're done. There's no need to rinse!
I haven't had the chance to try the cleansing water yet, but I do look forward to seeing how well it stands up against some of my waterproof makeup.
