Gift Ideas for Craft Lovers

I don't know about you but I love going shopping for people who love crafts. Spending time in a craft store ignites my creativity in such an inspiring way. Blank canvases, detailed fabrics, and colorful cardstock always give me ideas for new crafts to carry out.

If you have a friend who loves crafts, check out this brief gift guide. Here, I'll cover a few items that you can purchase as potential gifts. However, this guide is more of a brainstorming tool than an actual shopping guide. With that said, I did include the links just in case you want to find something on the list. Enjoy!

Professional Self-Healing Cutting Mat, $27
I once made the mistake of cutting cardboard for a handmade headboard on my vinyl flooring. Needless to say, I put several scratches in the vinyl which now collects dirt. Because of this terrible mishap, our floor is now in need of replacing. Fortunately, it's not as noticeable as I thought it would be, but it still requires cleaning with a toothbrush to remove the grime that collects inside of the scratches. Had I had this Self-Healing Cutting Mat, the whole situation could have been avoided. Save a floor. Help a friend. Pick up this cutting mat for your craft-loving friend.

Felt and Sewing Kit, $13
There is so much that you can do with felt. A few things that come to my mind are headband flowers, small stuffed animals, soft Christmas tree ornaments, and dollhouse tapestries and bedding. This set was far too good of a deal to pass up without including it here. For only $13, you can get 44 small pieces of felt and a 41-in-1 sewing kit.

Craft Storage Organizer, $48
Okay, so it's not exactly a craft storage organizer—it's actually advertised as a kids toy storage shelf. However, this organizer can be used for so many different craft supplies from craft scissors to ribbon, and from beads to clay.

Copic Marker 12-Piece Sketch Set, $75
These markers can be used for sketching, airbrushing (with the Copic Air Brush System), and they're also blendable. They're low-odor, alcohol-based inks and deliver rich color for all of your friend's drawing needs.

Mod Podge Clear Acrylic Sealer, 9 - Mod Podge Waterbased Sealer, $9
Mod Podge is a gift from the gods, according to most craft-people that I know. I used it several times for smoothing cardstock onto hard surfaces and it worked like a charm. This sealer can be used over paint, chalk boards, and so much more. Check out some of the Mod Podge craft ideas on Pinterest!

Black Chenile Stems Pipe Cleaners Set of 100, $8
It might seem silly to include such a simple item here as a possible gift, but after having seen the different ways to use this pipe cleaner on Pinterest, I had to include it. You can make miniature cats, beaded animals, party glasses, novelty costume wigs, ornaments and more! A great addition to any craft supply collection!

Double-Sided Multicolor Cardstock, $9
Cardstock is one of my favorite things to buy at the craft stores. The different styles, colors, and textures always give me great ideas for cardstock projects. You can make banners, organizers, holiday tags, cards, ornaments, invitations, and even wall art. The craft possibilities are endless with cardstock!

What is your must-have item for crafting?
