2017 Ohio Renaissance Festival Discount

It's that time of year again!

That's right! The Ohio Renaissance Festival will be in full swing starting September 2, 2017! Yet again, my family and I will be in attendance and as usual, I can't wait!

At the Ohio Renaissance Festival, leave your cares at the gate and step back in time to this 30-acre recreated 16th Century English village. Enjoy over 400 years in a single day! The festival offers something for everyone, featuring nearly 100 shows every day on 12 stages. Fall in love with the unique pieces of art in over 150 unique arts and crafts shops, tickle your taste buds with hearty food and drink, and play games of skill or ride human-powered rides!

* Product and/or service provided for review without cost. As always, all opinions are my own. Please view my full disclosure.

Over 150 costumed characters welcome you to the village, including dueling swordsman, rowdy pirates, nobles, peasants, and daring jugglers. Rub elbows with royalty as you cheer on your favorite knight to victory in the thrilling full-armored Tournament Joust!

The sprawling landscape is dotted with hundreds of unique shops in the Medieval Marketplace. Check out many one-of-a-kind handcrafted items and pick up a few of your favorites to take home. See time-honored crafts of glassblowing, stone carving, blacksmithing, leather tooling, and boot-making.

As you walk along, take in the scents of the foods from the Renaissance period. Feast like royalty on juicy, giant roasted turkey legs, fresh baked bread bowls overflowing with soups and stews, fish 'n' chips, steak-on-a-stake, roasted corn on the cob, and a wide variety of the finest ales and wines. There's something for everyone's taste buds!

Visitors of all ages will be amused by the games of skill and human-powered rides. Try your hand at archery and see if you're a modern-day Robin Hood, or climb the castle tower and rescue the lovely damsel in distress.

Have a wonderful time at the Ohio Renaissance Festival this year and if you happen to see me, don't forget to say hello!

  1. Is that coupon good for $4 off per adult ticket? When I try to use it on the site it only gives me $1 off each adult ticket. Thanks.

    3. Hi Emily,

I am having the same issue as the person above. Was there a solution found for the promo code not working correctly? Please let me know. (:

    4. I apologize for the delayed response. I was told that the $4 off reflects $4 off the price at the gate. For example, the tickets at the gate are $22.50. The online price is $19.50, add in the coupon code, and it's $18.50, which is $4 off actual retail at the gate. I'm sorry if this led to any confusion. I am updating the post.

  2. It still shows only $1 off, but what I think it reflects is $4 off the onsite/at gate price (which is normally $23)
