Light Up Your Life With Mr. Beams Stick Anywhere Task Light

Living in a house among light sleepers, it's incredibly important that I keep illumination to a minimum in the middle of the night. Sometimes this is difficult, being that I am a night-owl, not to mention, my husband doesn't get off of work until the late hours of the night. Recently, I was given the opportunity to try out an automatic, battery powered task light.

The Mr. Beams Stick Anywhere Task Light is a wireless, battery-powered light about the size of a smart phone. Because of it's small size, this light can be mounted almost anywherefrom cabinets to closets, from toy boxes to tool chests, and from hallways to entryways. The options for mounting are virtually endless, which makes this little light a true gem. It can be well hidden, or in plain sight, depending on your preferences.

My "problem area" is my kitchen. The set-up of our home is unique, and because of the placement of my son's room, one side of his room is illuminated if I use the kitchen lights late at night. Because of this, I often try to work in the kitchen as little as possible while he is asleep.

Thankfully, I no longer have to worry about disturbing him while I'm in the kitchen. These task lights are perfect for situations such as this, and I couldn't be more pleased.

The Mr. Beams Stick Anywhere Task Lights are incredibly easy to use. The back slides right off which makes battery installation quick and simple. If you're wondering, the Mr. Beams Task Lights require 4 AA batteries.

After adding the batteries, you'll notice a small switch. I set it to "Time."

Note: I found this switch to be a little confusing, being that it had several options including "On" and "Time" at the top and "Max" and "Min" at the bottom. I couldn't figure out exactly how to set it. The directions instructed me to set it for a specific amount of time, which I couldn't figure out how to do. Setting it to "Time" seemed to work out perfectly.

Before mounting the Mr. Beams Stick Anywhere Task Light, the instructions directed me to add the included sticker sheet to cover part of the sensor. This is to lengthen battery life. Applying the sticker was as easy as pie.

To mount the task lights, I chose to use the adhesive instead of the screws (I wasn't exactly sure if the placement was ideal, so I didn't want to do anything too permanent). I mounted the lights beneath my kitchen cabinets, and the adhesive alone has held up surprisingly well with absolutely no issues thus far.

The true test was to see whether or not these lights produced the light required to work and move around in the kitchen.

I am happy to announce that these little lights produced big results. With 35 lumens of light covering 10 square feet, they are exactly what I have been looking for. The amount of light is ideal for finishing cooking or cleaning without disturbing my little ones.

Tonight, I was able to cook a pot of pork and beans without having to turn on a single light in my kitchen. What I found most interesting is that the lights are automatic and can detect movement up to 10 feet away. There was not a single instance that the light went out on me as I was working. This product, my friends, is a winner!

As an added bonus, the lights are also quite aesthetically pleasing.

Needless to say, the Mr. Beams Stick Anywhere Task Light is a product that I wholeheartedly recommend whether to avoid waking your little ones at night, or to illuminate dark areas such as closets, toy bins, work areas, and more.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
