Get The Latest in Unrivaled Home Technology: Ozeri 3x Tower Fan

Winter air.

It's stagnant, and dry. The dust settles in the house and is stirred about when there is traffic indoorsand trust me, when it's this cold, indoors is where we spend most of our time. This excessive dust causes sneezing and coughing among my little ones. Opening windows isn't an option when the wind chill is below zero outdoors.

So, how do you remedy this problem? Fans, of course!

A couple of weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to try (and fall in love with) the Ozeri Ultra 42-Inch Wind Fan. Today, I've brought yet another fan into my home, because you can never have too many fans, especially when the air is so stale. This time, it's the Ozeri 3x Tower Fan (44") with Passive Noise Reduction Technology.

Now that's a mouth full, isn't it? Well, probably because there is a lot to say about this sleek, thin, durable fan.

As many of you know, the first thing I take note of about a product is it's size. When I'm reviewing a fan, I like readers to be able to get an idea of the actual size, just in case placement is an issue. This one is 44 inches tall. Do you remember when I reviewed the Ozeri Ultra 42-Inch Wind Fan and thought it was tall? Well, this one has it beat by two inches.

In the photo above, you'll see what came in the box. The fan itself, the base, the manual, a remote (and a remote batterynot pictured). What first caught my eye is that the Ozeri 3x Tower Fan had a lot less parts than I imagined it would. I thought that the fact that it was bigger would require more assembly, but that wasn't the case at all. I had the fan set up in less than 5 minutes (I'll walk you through the process towards the end of this post).

The base of the Ozeri 3x Tower Fan is incredibly sturdy. It is heavy enough to provide stability, yet elegant enough to look good in any room of the house. The base stand is made of reinforced glass. It has "pegs" on the bottom to help keep the fan where it's supposed to be, without sliding around.

The blades of the fan are curved which generates "opposing sound waves to reduce blade noise and isolate the soothing sounds of the airflow itself."  It should also be noted that it has three fans, each of which can be operated independently from one another. There are also three speeds available.

I really love the overall look of this fan. It's sleek, shiny, and thin (less than three inches thick). As a matter of fact, it's so thin that it is among one of the world's thinnest fans.

It's a basic colorblackso when it comes to blending in with specific decor, you won't have a problem.

Some of the random details, such as the curvature of the outer fan casing up to the display gives it a little something "extra." Ozeri clearly knows how to make a fan that stands out!

The display is clean and easy to read, but the modes did take a little getting used to. However, once I figured it out, I was pretty amazed at how much this fan can do. Check out some of the features below:

  • Three pre-programmed airflow patterns including one to foster sleep, one to induce relaxation, and one to comfort
  • 7.5 hour timer that can be programmed in 30 minute increments
  • Remote allows you to control the fan from afar
  • LED control panel is touch-sensitive.

Talk about a fan of the future! As if that weren't enough, it also has an oscillation option and even while "swinging," this fan is incredibly quiet. Without looking, you wouldn't even know it was on.

Don't worry about losing that remote either. The back of the fan boasts a perfect little spot to keep your remote safe and sound. Just slide it in and BOOM! You no longer have to search your house for hours trying to find it.

My son loved this fan so much that he actually asked if he could keep it in his room. He loves the ability to power it from afar, along with all of the features and modes available. I personally think he likes it so much because he's not much taller than it is. ;)

My overall opinion of the Ozeri 3x Tower Fan is totally positive. The look, the design, the durability, the power, the noise-reduction; everything about it is exactly what people should be looking for in a fan. Anything without it, and you're missing out! For only $99.99, this fan is truly a steal.

Ozeri 3x Tower Fan Assembly

The Ozeri 3x Tower Fan is so easy to put together. Seriously. It can be done in 5 minutes or less. I'll walk you through the process below.

The first thing you'll want to do is unscrew the "cap" off of the bottom of the bar that's connected to the body of the fan.

Next, slide the bottom bar of the fan into the reinforced glass base. The bottom should be visible from the bottom of the base, like in the photograph below.

Be sure that the bar is centered at the top of the base as well.

Once everything is in place, go ahead and screw the "cap" back on under the bottom of the base. Screw it on there tightly.

Stand your fan up.

Insert the (included) battery into your remote.

You'll want to flip the remote over, and then follow the instructions on the label on the back of the remote to remove the C-shaped battery mount. Set the battery inside the mount.

And slide it back into the remote.

That's it! Now you're ready to use your Ozeri 3x Tower Fan.

Let me be the first to tell you; if you know someone who has to sleep with a fan on, get them one of these bad boys! The "night time" mode is so incredibly relaxing that it has put me to sleep a number of times, within 20 minutes or less. It should be noted that I rarely fall asleep in less than 45 minutes, but this fan has really helped me out in that department. I highly recommend it!
